Climate Messiah Is Need Of The Hour – By Stephen Dias, Dona Paula Goa India

The world is in need of a Messiah to reign on earth so as to be the champion of climate change and its consequences, which until now has proved to be the cause of a great deal of loss. No head of government has taken up cudgels to fight the effects of global warming and thus climatic aberrations that has resulted in huge losses. Wildfires, drought, flooding, cyclones, hurricanes, tornadoes and typhoons have been regularly seen across the globe that has caused devastation. Wildfires in particular have hit Canada, America, the Amazon region, such as Bolivia wherein a wildfire recently has affected almost one third of the country, as well as places in China.
In the year 2022 it has been recorded that 68,988 wildfires have burnt 7.6 million acres of land across the globe. Nearly 12 million hectares of land-an area the size of Nicaragua was burnt in 2023. Though an estimated 3.04 trillion trees are estimated to be present on earth which means that almost 390 trees per person is now present on earth, still it has been observed that with increasing emission of greenhouse gases, temperatures across the globe seems to have generated a vicious circle of heating due to trapping of the heat of the sun in an ever-increasing envelope of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane, nitrogen oxides and sulphur dioxide.
Even the threshold of limiting the increase to 1.5 degree Centigrade above the pre-industrial levels has not been able to be maintained on earth which was the goal set at the Paris Agreement on Climate change. It is highly unlikely that reining in heatwaves and wildfires have been able to be achieved, despite random and lack of methodical frameworks for reducing usage of fossil fuels, particularly coal and petroleum products like petrol, diesel and aviation turbine fuel as also natural gas have been adhered to in order to fight climate change.
Politics should be shunned when trying to drastically reduce fossil fuels usage is concerned. It has been observed in the several COP conventions that very little control on usage of fossil fuels have been mandated which by now could have resulted in temperatures across the world to have been reduced if the basic frameworks had incorporated strict regimens for the reduction in fossil fuels usage. A Messiah on Climate change hence seems to be the need of the hour so as to make the world a better place of live in where salubrious climes in several parts of the world that has been observed earlier have been breached resulting in severe climatic aberrations that has caused environmental degradation.

Don't care about what happens in some faraway place, look at your own backyard. Goans need to block additional ghantti settlement, whether as mega projects (both slums for poor ghanttis and gated communities for rich ghanttis) or standalone homes (of all sizes for all levels of ghanttis). Then push out the ghanttis already in Goa, their lower median IQ combined with cultural differences regarding attitude towards the environment means that ghanttis are automatically a burden on Goa's natural resources and not a blessing. Mass immigration of ghanttis is the single largest cause of Goa's environmental problems, Goa is the only state where migrants outnumber natives.
Also need to point out that recently some "sickular Catlick Bamonn" 304 named Michelle Mendonça Bambawale has been prancing around North Goa while verbal diarrhoea pours out of her mouth about "Becoming Goan". The Pune-based gold digger married a typical BIMARU Hindu roach (Bambawale paid off the other Mendonça family members for the ancestral property during the pandemic, the 304 never had any job that paid that much) and had children with him. Then she imports all these North Indian ghanttis to Goa instead of moving to her husband's Third World village and following his ghantti culture there like a normal family. Even her Jharkhand household help was brought with her from Maharashtra to Goa. She's one of those hypocrites pushing for demographic replacement of Goans by her actions. She can blather about her love for Goa's nature all she wants, but mass immigration from other states is the major cause of Goa's environmental problems. So the trashy 304 and her ghantti baggage are not the solution to Goa's problems, but one of its causes. Note that the mentally unstable female also demolished the traditional Goan balcão at the front of the Mendonça ancestral house and replaced it with some ugly Thai Buddhist kitsch, that shows her real tacky beliefs and that she isn't going to fit in with the actual educated Siolim villagers.
